Luminescence: The Silver of Perú is the largest collection of its kind ever seen in Canada. The exhibition features 140 silver artifacts, some of which have never left Perú, and one-of-kind national treasures that hold over 2,000 years of history. The pieces were selected from private collections and national museums to form an exclusive exploration of silver throughout Peruvian history and culture.
The exhibition is curated by The University of British Columbia’s Museum of Anthropology (MOA) director, Dr. Anthony Shelton, in collaboration with the Patronato Plata del Perú.
