Mr. Boster is a Mineral Processing Engineer from the Montana College of Mineral Science and Technology. He has over twenty years' experience in the mining industry and has managed mines in Central and South America (Honduras and Chile) as well as in the US. He has a wealth of expertise in large plant start up, production supervision, process flow sheet development and precious metals plant management.
Mr. Hannan is a Mining Engineer from the Camborne School of Mines, where he obtained his B.Eng (Hons) in 1986. He joined Pan American Silver in 2010 as the General Manager of the La Colorada mine, in Mexico and was promoted to Country Manager, Bolivia in late 2011. Prior to joining Pan American, Mr. Hannan worked for Anglo American, where he accumulated over 11 years of experience working on both Gold and Diamond mines in South Africa. In 1997 he was transferred to Anglo American's corporate office in London where he worked as a Mining Analyst for 13 years. Whilst in South Africa, Mr. Hannan also obtained an MBA through Herriot Watt University in 1995.
Mr. Ugarte is an Industrial Engineer with over 15 years' experience in Corporate Finance. He joined Pan American Silver in 1998 as Finance Manager after 3 years with Peruvian Backus & Johnston Brewing Co. He has an MBA from ESAN University (Peru) and a Major in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin. He was promoted to the role of Country Manager, Perú in March 2011.
Mr. Christopher Warwick joined Pan American Silver, Mexico at the La Colorada Mine as General Manager in 2006. He is a Mining Engineer who brings over 20 years of underground mining engineering experience to the Company. During his career, Mr. Warwick has worked a range of positions in underground mines in South Africa, Botswana, Zambia and the DRC in Africa and also in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan in the former USSR [CIS}, supervising all facets of mine engineering, operations, construction and development projects. Before joining Pan American, he spent the previous11 years in Central Africa in Zambia and the DRC, with what was then the state owned company of ZCCM. He worked at various companies on the Copperbelt after the spinoff of the mines with the implementation of the ZCCM privatisation program. Mr. Warwick graduated from the Camborne School of Mines in England in 1987 and is a registered Chartered and Professional Engineer as well as a registered Chartered Environmentalist [IoMMM/UK].
