Pan American Silver was created with the intention to provide investors with the best vehicle to gain exposure to higher silver prices. Our mission is to become the largest primary producer of low-cost silver in the world. To achieve this, we base our business on the following strategy:
- Increasing low-cost silver production from quality assets
- Constantly replacing mined silver reserves and resources through a successful brown fields exploration program
- Adding new silver reserves and resources through a successful green fields exploration program and business development initiatives
- Generating strong cash flows and sustainable profits through the efficient operation of our portfolio of assets
- Providing leverage to higher silver prices by maintaining a no-precious-metals hedging philosophy – The Company maintains a no precious metals hedging policy because it believes that limiting the upside of silver revenues goes against the very principle of its existence
