Overview

Pan American Silver Corp. has seven operating mines strategically located in Perú, México, Argentina and Bolivia; Latin America’s richest silver-producing countries. The Company consistently increased its annual silver production throughout the past fourteen years. In 2008, the Company produced 18.7 million ounces of silver. In 2009, with the commissioning of its eighth mine, Manantial Espejo located in the Argentinean mining-friendly province of Santa Cruz and the commissioning of its new processing plant at its San Vicente mine, located in Bolivia, Pan American Silver expects to produce 21.5 million ounces of silver and 85,000 ounces of gold. 2009 will be the Company’s fourteenth straight year of production growth.
