The La Virginia property is located in the State of Sonora, Mexico. The project is located about 220 km to the north-east of the city of Hermosillo and about 100 km north-west of the Dolores mine. It consists of a total of 34,851 hectares of exploration claims, of which 32,749 hectares are owned 100% by Pan American. The remaining 2,102 hectares are under two different options contracts.

Geology and Exploration

High-grade mineralization is concentrated within several smaller zones along low sulphidation epithermal veins. There are several targets along a five km structural trend, which have been drilled since 2010 by Minefinders and recently Pan American, with 131 holes totaling 38,554 metres of diamond drilling. The main exploration targets are the Con Virginia, Las Huatas, Las Huatas Sur, Campo Santo and El Oriental areas.

Technical report

Minefinders published high grade drill results in several press releases that are available on SEDAR (www.sedar.com), the last one which was published in October, 2011. Since then, another 68 drill holes have been completed.

For a detailed description of the La Virginia project, please refer to Minefinders' Annual Information Form, dated February 22, 2012, which is available on SEDAR (www.SEDAR.com).
