We work to create programs and processes that enhance our ability to both hire and retain employees who represent the local community and to engage with local contractors and suppliers.

Operation-level inclusion and diversity sub-committees develop and implement
inclusion programs to address site-specific challenges and perceived barriers to hiring and retaining diverse talent.

PROGRAMS & INITIATIVES

  • Building Respect Together program promotes a respectful workplace and fosters a culture that honors inclusion and diversity
  • PAAS Listens provides employees with a mechanism to provide feedback or file grievances directly with the Company
  • Training programs, awareness, and scholarships help grow the talent pool of women in mining-related careers

2023 Goals

  • Complete the third module “Harassment and Assertiveness” of our Building Respect Together program, covering 100% of our workforce.
  • Achieve 15% hiring of women for all approved and budgeted vacant positions (plus all new eligible positions) and retain 85% women in the workforce (excluding involuntary terminations).

2022 Sustainability Report

Our 2022 Sustainability Report is pre­­pared in accordance with Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards and the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) Standard. It also contains information in consideration of the Task Force on Climate Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) reporting framework.
